SIMPLE IRA

Savings Incentive Match Plan for Employees is an easy to administer alternative to a 401(k) that is ideal for small businesses.  In fact it is not open to employers with over 100 employees.  If you have between 1 and 50 employees this may be the ideal plan for you!

SEP IRA

A Simplified Employee Pension Individual Retirement Account is another alternative to a 401(k) in which the employer is responsible for funding the accounts for their employees.  This type of plan is typically best for family operated businesses and business owners with no employees.

401(k) Plan

Individual 401(k)

For those business owners who have no employees (other than their spouse) this plan is one of the best options.  It allows for large tax-deferred contributions and profit-sharing matches.  There are no administration costs like those found in a standard 401(k) plan.
